The Australian Sailing Team is updating it’s fleet of motor boats used for coaching the Olympic classes. The sale of its Tornado motor boats will allow the AST to purchase two new boats and to have a common fleet of motor boats.
There are two boats available for purchase, the details of the boats are:
Boat 1 – “Jeni Lidgett”
Model: Tornado 5.4m
Hull built: 2001
Tubes built: 2001, refurbished in 2007
Engine: Yamaha 60hp, new in November 2006
Road Trailer: Hallmark, built 2001
Boat 2 – “John Harrison”
Model: Tornado 5.4m
Hull built: 2002
Tubes built: 2002
Engine: Yamaha 60hp, new in November 2005
Road Trailer: Hallmark, built 2002
These boats are being offered for sale at $17,000 AUD each.
