Neil Pryde Limited (Pryde Group) designed and developed the RSX Olympic Windsurfing Equipment and is the exclusive manufacturer.
In a boost to RSX sailing 'down under' CEO Neil Pryde has announced that Performance Sailcraft Australasia has been appointed Australasian distributors for RSX
Mr Pryde commented ‘Performance Sailcraft, is one of a select group of Laser manufacturers and distributors around the world. They do a great job of supporting aspiring Olympic sailors with their Laser programs, providing technical and logistical support for regattas.
‘Olympic windsurfing is more like yacht racing. It is an elite discipline, the equipment is different and it makes good sense to have it handled by Performance Sailcraft who focuses on servicing the needs of Olympic sailors.
Chris Caldecoat, CEO of Performance Sailcraft Australasia comments ‘Our focus is on racing classes. Australia is a huge country, so sailors need the support we are able to offer at regattas. It is a unique service of which we are we are proud and its obviously being appreciated by the elite athletes. RSX fits in perfectly with Laser, as we grow RSX it will us to provide even more support for both classes. '
