"Looking for something to do these holidays? Grafton will be hosting the 2008 Australian Speed and Marathon Water Ski Championships on January 9-12 at Corcoran Park.
With over 120 skiers and 60 boats this will be a chance to see some of Australia's best skiers behind champion boats with some reaching speeds of over 160kmh.
Skiers will compete in age, speed, motor type and size events and also the marathon events in which a skier will use 6 different types of equipment throughout the event including: single, doubles, single finless, double finless, freeboard and a wood plank.
Skiers from all over Australia will come carve up the Clarence River for Australia's most prestigious ski event. Fun and excitement for the whole family, with thrills and hopefully no spills."
