The recently held 2007 NIB Coolangatta Gold Ironman race will hit television screens throughout the nation for two hours on Sunday October 28 from 1.30-3.30pm through the Nine Network, WIN & NBN Television.
Renowned as the most gruelling Ironman race in surf sports, the NIB Coolangatta Gold returned for its third consecutive year in the modern era with the 2007 event thrown open for the first time to all athletes from throughout the sporting world to test their skills against the world’s fastest and fittest surf lifesavers.
From Surfers Paradise to Coolangatta and back, all the stars of the sport are on show in an emotional documentary package with a host of personalities, pain and behind the scenes stories being told as both the open men’s and women’s races unfold.
