Coffs Fishinjg report - 2008/07/29 10:55 That was a nasty turn in the weather and it's hanging in there but at least the fish are biting. All this weather action has stirred up the salmon and tailor again after a quiet spell. Shane Bursle weighed in a 3.7kg Tailor he bagged at Gallows and Jason Rodger picked up a 1.2kg specimen off Mutton Bird. Jason's names been pulled from the barrel for the voucher this week which is fitting as he is heading back down south after a 6 month fishing trip in Coffs Harbour. The fish won't miss him, we might. Speaking of Barrels, how awsome has the surf been! Unfortunately the south and north wall have been difficult to fish due to the waves breaking over the top. The next best thing to fishing there though is watching the joggers get wet.
Not alot has been happening this week though this weekend coming is looking tops, the new moon and big tides should get things happening. So put off those jobs this weekend and throw a line in. More from me next week. Till then good luck and take care.
