1999 4839 Terms & Conditions
How to Use:
The Service 1999 HUEY (1999 4839) is provided to allow consumers to retrieve one of five pieces of information available to their particular area. These pieces of information are:
- - Weather Forecast
- - Tide Predictions
- - Current Conditions
- - 7 Day Wind
- - 7 Day Swell
Example: If the consumer is in Coolangatta, and looking for tide information, they simply SMS their postcode (4225) and the word "tide" to 1999 HUEY (1999 4839). Examples following:
SMS: "4225tide" - Will get tides for Coolangatta and sunrise/sunset back to their phone.
SMS: "4225forecast" - Will get the BOM forecast for SE QLD back to their phone.
SMS: "4225now" - Will get the current Coolangatta observation readings to their phone.
SMS: "4225wind" - Will get the 7 day wind predictions for Coolangatta back to their phone.
SMS: "4225swell" - Will get the 7 day swell predictions for Coolangatta back to their phone.
The most you'll pay for any question is $1.00. This is not a subscription service! There are no hidden costs involved, simply $1.00 for every message that you send to 1999 HUEY (4839)! Your information request will appear on your mobile bill as "ASKHUEY". Sending a message to 1999 HUEY reflects consumer acceptance of these terms & conditions & those listed below.
SMS Responses:
Ask Huey will respond to messages automatically using up-to-date system information in order to provide recent information. Only the configured post codes (attached) will deliver a response. A message detailing that there was an issue with your information request will be sent back to your phone if you type anything incorrectly (including the keywords "tide", "forecast" and "now").

Privacy:
For immediate provision of information, ASK HUEY stores all SMS history and mobile phone information in a secure database. This database is restricted to authorised access only. ASK HUEY will never sell, rent or disclose stored mobile numbers to third party unless we are required to do so by law or by a regulatory body. All information requests become and remain the property of ASK HUEY. ASK HUEY collects mobile phone information from you (your mobile number) to enable you to receive your requested information. ASK HUEY reserves the right to utilize these numbers in future marketing. ASK HUEY also reserves the right to change the price of the service at any point in time, in conjunction with an endeavour to educate its customers about the price change via this website.

Up-to-date, accurate weather/surf information is provided by ASK HUEY for entertainment purposes only. ASK HUEY takes no liability with any accident, injury or event caused by using this information in anyway.
ASK HUEY is not liable for any accident, injury or RSI induced pain caused by mobile phone usage!
